To look is to discover. It is also to desire, to love, to create, to choose… The gaze does not only linger on the material but on less palpable sensations: a resonance, an energy, a strong presence, an attraction…

It is this look that Meharanh and Matarengo highlight in their exhibition where the interaction between contemporary jewelry and ancient African art invites to escape, to travel in another world, hypnotic, magnetic.

This dialogue between the timelessness of the lines of the jewelry and the power of the fetishes offers a look full of meaning between two worlds, between reality and beyond; it addresses the deepest part of our being linking the intimate and the universal.
